What is Digestive
The digestive system is a complex and extensive system of our bodies. It starts from putting food in the mouth until excreted. The digestive process is responsible for absorbing essential nutrients, the body’s metabolism, and also responsible for eliminating waste. It depends upon what we eat, when we eat, and how we eat.
In Ayurved, the digestive fire is known as Agni. For food to be properly absorbed, it should be properly absorbed. And proper digestion happens when Agni is strong. A strong Agni means – The tri dosha’s (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) are in balance. When digestive energy is low, the food doesn’t get digested well. The food gets accumulated in the elimentary canal and results in problems like acidity, bloating, etc.
